There is a lack of space, staff, and equipment at the existing health center, leading to the need for referrals and inadequate care. The establishment of a new health center would benefit not only the Seminole Nation but also other tribes in the area. The tribal leaders have passed resolutions to address the need for a health clinic and plans are being made to construct one in the Mekusukey Mission Ground or the city of Wewoka.</dc:description></oai_dc:dc>
