Congressman Albert responded that a bill appropriating $8,500,000 for payment was signed into law and checks will be mailed out to living enrolled members in about sixty days. Payment to deceased members' heirs will require proof of heirship and notices will be sent out for completion. All payments are expected to be made before notices are sent out to heirs.
