The agency took actions to strengthen outreach programs, improve communication, and provide training for staff to better serve Indian populations. Examples were given of loans made to tribes and individual Indians for housing and water system projects. Overall, there has been significant growth in benefits received by Indians from FmHA programs in recent years.
