They discussed adding new members from the New York area, including labor leaders and National Sharecroppers Fund Board members. They also addressed issues such as the death of a founding member, a new pamphlet on farm labor organizing, testimony at current hearings, and trouble spots in Texas, Florida, and New Jersey. They also discussed the formation of the National Campaign for Agricultural Democracy to work for NLRA coverage for farm workers.
