- Description:
- Oklahoma Congressmen Wes Watkins and Mickey Edwards, along with other members of the House Appropriations Committee, will be inspecting military construction facilities in two NATO countries and meeting with nuclear arms negotiators in Geneva from July 5-12. They will visit U.S. Army and Air Force bases in Germany, as well as meeting with U.S. Ambassador Edward L. Rowny and Paul Nitze. They will also stop in England to inspect the Greenham Commons base where ground launched cruise missiles will be deployed. They will meet with various military and government officials during the tour.
