- Description:
- A Congressman has forwarded a letter from a constituent complaining about treatment by OSHA to the Department of Labor. In response, OSHA announces expedited action to propose a rule on hoisting workers by crane following a recent fatal accident in Florida. The proposed rule will be part of a larger standard on cranes and will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health. The accident in Tampa stadium is still under investigation.
