- Description:
- Daniel N. Stiles writes to Senator Fred Harris requesting assistance in enrolling his adopted Eskimo daughter, Anastasia, in Sequoyah High School. Anastasia had previously been denied admission by the Muskogee Area Office, citing her need for special education classes. Stiles believes this is unjust and seeks help in securing her enrollment. Senator Harris forwards the request to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, who ultimately enrolls Anastasia in the school. Stiles expresses gratitude for the assistance.
