Representative  Robert Smith has disclosed that Indian claims to federal lands in Oregon could wipe out state lands and forests, and a hearing will be held to address these issues. Amos A. Hopkins-Dukes, the National Executive Director, is leading the effort to acquire land for Indians under an 1887 allotment act.";
