- Description:
- Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from J.V. Long, Manager of Nationwide Finance Company, regarding the indebtedness of Albert and Theresa Tahlequah. The Bureau of Indian Affairs provided a report stating that Albert Tahlequah, a member of the Comanche Tribe, has minimal income from trust Indian land. The Bureau cannot assist in debt collection unless authorized beforehand. Senator Harris forwarded the matter to the Anadarko Area Office for further investigation.
