They informed him that the restrictions on his land were removed in 1920, terminating their jurisdiction over his land. The Bureau of Indian Affairs also provided information on the removal of restrictions for individuals with a certain degree of Indian blood, including Hampton. They clarified that his land was no longer under their jurisdiction and provided historical context on the removal of restrictions.
