D. Ward, a Creek Indian from Tulsa, to Honorable George B. Schwabe, House of Representatives, discusses a resolution from the Executive Creek National Council seeking an accounting and capital payment to the tribe. Enclosed are copies of letters sent to representatives of the Creek Indian National Council since 1939, as well as a letter suggesting a personal visit to the Claims Division office. Another letter to Jack Davis, Delegate of the Creek National Council, also suggests a personal visit to clarify the matter. Additionally, there are responses from the Comptroller General of the United States to Washington Adams, Secretary of the Creek National Council, explaining that an accounting report was made to the Attorney General in connection with the case of The Creek Nation V. The United States. It is suggested that the matters in the letters are primarily for the consideration of the Secretary of the Interior.</dc:description></oai_dc:dc>
