- Description:
- This bill provides for the final settlement of claims by Oklahoma Indian tribes against the Federal government, discharge of federal supervision over Oklahoma Indians, determination of heirs, disposal of federal property and records, and other purposes. It authorizes the payment of $3,000 to each enrolled Oklahoma Indian, removes restrictions on their lands and money, and directs the distribution of tribal money to members or their heirs. Failure to claim money within a specified time may result in transfer to the state of Oklahoma for distribution.
