Representative George B. Schwabe contacted the General Land Office and received a response stating that there are remaining vacant public lands in Yuma County, Arizona. The District Land Office in Phoenix can provide information and diagrams of vacant tracts for a fee. Circular 1588 containing regulations for soldiers and sailors' public land rights was also enclosed. The General Land Office offered further assistance to Mr. Phillips and returned his letter with relevant information.</dc:description></oai_dc:dc>
