Danzy from Holdenville, Oklahoma, wrote a letter on November 12, 1945, requesting information about the Oklahoma Indians, particularly the Creek Indians and their allotment of money. Elmer Thomas acknowledged receipt of the letter and forwarded it to William Zimmerman, Assistant Commissioner of Indian Affairs in Chicago, requesting him to advise Miss Danzy directly. Thomas also wrote a letter to Zimmerman requesting him to provide the desired information to Miss Danzy and to return the enclosure with a copy of his report.</dc:description></oai_dc:dc>
