- Description:
- Mrs. David T. Urmston supports President Ford's economic and energy program, but does not agree with raising taxes on domestic oil. She believes that the market should govern oil prices and that taxes on windfall profits should be designed to encourage safe capital investment in drilling and other developments. She also believes that raising oil prices will not benefit consumers and will only benefit black market dealers.
