<dcterms:description>In response to a petition from employees at the Concho School in Oklahoma, the Bureau of Indian Affairs investigated the administration of the school and found no irregularities or improprieties by the Superintendent. The committee established by the Bureau found that complaints were based on misunderstandings or lack of information, and that the Superintendent had shown dedication and ingenuity in dealing with problems at the school. Congressman Page Belcher forwarded the results of the investigation to Mr. Henry Ahtone, assuring him that further investigation could be requested if needed.</dcterms:description>

<dcterms:description>The author of the letter is upset with Mr. Bruce and his subordinates at the Bureau of Indian Affairs for failing to communicate with their Tribal Council. They feel that the Tribal Council, elected to represent their interests, is being ignored and that decisions affecting their lives are doomed for failure. The author recommends giving the Indian people more input in decisions and a say in selecting their leaders.</dcterms:description>
