The number of pupils from each tribe varied, with some tribes having only one or two students while others had larger groups. Some of the tribes represented included Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Navajo, and Pima. Overall, there was a total of 76 tribes represented at the school during that school year. This allocation is part of a larger fund of $108,925,000 for 21 months. The funds will support over 20,000 participants for the first period and 26,500 for the second period in various training programs. The largest allocation went to the Navaho Tribe of Indians at the Window Rock Reservation in Arizona.
